Where this sits
Assembly is where the accountability actually lands.
When parts come from more than one source, the assembly step is where a mismatch shows up — and it is also where responsibility usually gets diffuse. Doing it in Singapore, after our own incoming inspection, means one party owns the fit: us.
It is the same reason inspection is ours rather than delegated. The point of the arrangement is that you have one number to call.
Questions
What buyers ask about assembly.
Can you assemble parts you did not machine?
Yes. Free-issued components are inspected on receipt against your drawing before they go into a build, and we tell you before assembly if something does not conform rather than discovering it halfway through.
Do you assemble in a cleanroom?
No — we do not operate a classified cleanroom, and we do not claim one. Assemblies are built, cleaned and packed to the same published procedure as loose parts. If your build has to happen inside a classified space, tell us at RFQ and we will say so rather than taking the job.
Can you hold stock and ship against a schedule?
For repeat work, yes, and it is usually the cheaper way to buy. We agree the call-off schedule and the holding arrangement in writing at quote stage, because an informal arrangement is the one that fails at the worst moment.
Do you handle purchased items — fasteners, seals, bearings?
Yes, sourced to your specification and traceable where the BOM calls for it. If you have an approved-vendor requirement for a component, send it with the BOM and we buy to it.
Assemblies ship with the same documentation as components: CMM report, cleaning record, and material certificates where the BOM calls for them. Weekly, in writing, whether or not there is news
